In designing this website I have tried to find a simple way to categorize my many varied interests. This has been a developing process, but I have narrowed it down to 4 main categories
I have always been a visual artist having grown up in an art family with a mother (88 years old now) who is an oil painter and a father who was a printer.
In 1972 I began teaching children art which I am still doing today.
I love stained glass and was taught this craft by my 86 year old mother-in-law who lives with my husband and myself.
I learned crochet from my grandmother.
I became affiliated with Recycletown as a result of a friendship with Pavitra Crimmel and that lead me to Thea West and her crochet techniques. So I combined my love for fiber, recycling and crochet into one.
I wanted my website to visually represent my art and also be a teaching tool, a place to share some of the projects and writings I have done with the children over the years.
The next challenge was picking a domain name that was relevant. I chose the 2b because my husband,3D-Edddy is also an artist, our name is Born. Creative was simple but 2b creative was already taken so I added the 2 (meaning also) at the end. Ahh perfection. Now I have it in place.
